Isa Wines

Isa Wines is the personal winemaking project of San Francisco–based sommelier and natural wine advocate Isabella Morano. Her love for wine began on a family trip to Italy and grew through years working in the Bay Area’s food and wine scene, including roles at St. Vincent, Arlequin Wine Merchant, Wine & Spirits Magazine, Absinthe, Habibi Bar, and NOPA.

From 2017 to 2020, Isabella trained with pioneers of low-intervention winemaking such as Martha Stoumen, Elisabetta Foradori, Domaine Mosse, and Bedrock Wine Co. She launched Isa Wines in 2021 with a single barrel of Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Cruz. Today, she produces small batches using organic fruit, native fermentation, and minimal sulfur.
